Andes Cafe Reviews
Delicious. I had to choose my food quickly, from all the places in The Post and, with no disrespect to the other places, I'm glad I grabbed my meal from Andes.I got the chicken dish with the salad and fries (and some herb-based dipping sauce) and it was absolutely delicious.I took it to go, but I waited at the venue for them to prepare it and it was a cute little place with good music.
Feb 25, 2025 · Josh LavianI went here to experience some tasty South American cuisine, but my wife and I were disappointed. We ordered Sausage and Potato Cake (Llapingachos), which is a traditional Ecuadorian dish of potato patties stuffed with cheese. What we were served was a sad version of it, with hardly any trace of cheese in the potato patty. The plate had just one small potato patty, four small pieces of sausage, and two fried eggs, as you can see in the photo of the plate before we ate. Costing $15, the value of this serving was underwhelming.
Apr 27, 2025 · Utpal BoseLocated in a very big food court called The Post. I was surprised by the flavors and the pork dish was tender. Definitely worth a try is you are looking for Latin food.
Jun 11, 2025 · Sohail BThe food was underwhelming and the staff were SO rude. This location is next to about 20 other options that are actually worth the money.
Apr 05, 2025 · Stephen CarsonIt was my first time at the POST food hall and I walked around to see all of the options. Andes Cafe stood out to me as the most unique cuisine/ menu offered. The staff was nice enough to take my order even though it was near closing time. I ordered the steak and fries and passion fruit cheesecake. I am not much of a meat eater so it’s hard for me to say the steak was my favorite but I did enjoy the side salad and the bed of French fries. The French fries were fried to golden perfection and the salad was nicely assembled with thinly sliced onions and a chimichurri type of dressing. I would go back here again just to have another serving of their fries. I can do without the steak, even though it was still a pretty good addition. Would definitely pass on the passion fruit cheesecake. At $8 a piece I couldn’t help but feel, I was eating an overpriced piece of store bought cheesecake under the guise of supposedly “fancy” plating. I’ll still be open to trying this place out again. I’d be interested to explore their ceviche bar next time. And for sure get an order of fries.
