Loy Loy Dim Sum Reviews
Generic food court quality food. Not quite authentic Chinese, but nice attempt. I had the Singapore noodles, which needed a little more curry powder flavor. Potstickers were rubbery.
Dec 30, 2024 · Flip CoinI’ve had Bao all over the world, but these Bao buns were incredibly disappointing. The BBQ Bao steam buns were mostly bun with very little filling—about 95% bun and only 5% filling. The sticky rice was stale and slimy, unlike anything I’ve had before. The shrimp balls were the only redeeming part of my meal—they were actually good. However, the portion of sauce provided was ridiculous. I spent over $50 on my order and received just four BOTTLECAPS of sauce, which was honestly laughable. As for customer service, I didn’t stay long enough to fully assess it, but I did notice the staff member at the front ignored a paying customer with which they were in midst of an order with, to speak to me about my order. Take that for what it’s worth.Long story short, there’s much better options at Post HTX for the price point such as Chop’n Blok across the hall.
Dec 01, 2024 · OneZipLoy Loy is located within The Post Market, off Franklin Street.Anytime I see a Dim Sum place, I have to try it. Also my buddy has never had it. So started him off on some simple dishes to peel his interest.BBQ Pork Buns and Shrimp Balls were an easy choice for a first timer. The shrimp balls were loaded with flavor, also added a photo show how well stuffed they are.You won’t be disappointed giving this place a try.The parking is quite vast. However, if you visit within the prime time hours or weekends. You’ll have a hard time parking and moving about.I’ve been in the past where it’s shoulder to shoulder in the market. However today at 4pm it was practically empty! So plan accordingly. We will be back for more!
Jun 29, 2023 · Stoc Ish (Stocish)Great food! First time here and was just wandering until I saw the pork buns listed. Fantastic! Really good, reminds me of going out to eat with my cousins. I would definitely come back here to try everything else.
Nov 24, 2024 · Danse DanseI had high hopes for this place, especially since we were craving dim sum on Chinese New Year. Unfortunately, it was a complete disaster. The dumplings were served cold, and raw and we accidentally bit into a raw pork dumpling. It was absolutely disgusting, and we had to spit it out immediately. This place clearly doesn’t know what they’re doing, especially when it comes to basic food safety. Food court generally doesn’t really look very hygiene either. Totally disappointing, and I won’t be coming back
