Jun 07, 2025 · Michelle HarkleroadMy boyfriend made reservations at this place for our anniversary. I must say this place is so cozy, it definitely catches your attention. Let me tell you why I gave this review a three stars versus five. First, the host was amazing, since we had reservations, we did not have to wait. She seated us in a cozy little spot, but after she left, that’s when things changed. It took my waitress quite a while to get to us, and the restaurant was very empty. No worries, when she finally came, she asked did we have any questions about the menu, And she proceeded to take our order. My boyfriend ordered the crab salmon, and of course I ordered the southern catfish. It did not take long for the food to come out. Everything was hot, Well seasoned. I was a little disappointed to see how small the salmon was for the price nevertheless, My catfish made up for it. The macaroni and cheese is OMG good … My waitress never came back to the table until it was time to pay the bill. We had to get other people to get our refills, and the condiment’s I needed for my meal. When she finally came back , She told us how much the bill would be, but never gave us a copy of the check. So, about 15 minutes later, she comes back to the table with the check, And when I asked her about the service charge, she explained that everyone gets paid off top. Here’s the thing I understand how most businesses work, but if you’re gonna charge me a $16 charge at least provide some sort of service to me. The young lady was very rude, very inattentive. I’ve only saw her twice and I have to pay you $16 in a tip.💔. I even tried talking to the young lady to give her some coaching tips because you can tell she was young, she had the audacity to laugh. I almost got up and just left. I almost let (MIKAYLA) ruined my anniversary. Don’t believe I’ll be coming back to this location🥹
Nov 13, 2024 · Rasheka HowardI READ comments. I like to do my research before making my decision on where to eat. I travel a lot for work I love trying restaurants I’ve never been before so I took a chance on this one. While I was making my decision to come to this establishment I notice the owner (I’m assuming) was responding to everyone’s concerns and experiences while at their establishment, I love to see that! Not only did they respond but they also took the time to make everyone’s concerns was answered and made it right! That shows volumes and speaks a lot about the owner. My experience was GREAT! I went in there March 5th sat at the bar and had a great conversation with the bartender Sierra. She made me feel very comfortable gave me great recommendations to the menu. The food I got was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYTHING HAD FLAVOR!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing was bland everything was GREAT! Sierra also informed me that there’s other locations as well and I didn’t know that. Would love to go to all of them especially the one in Miami. My ONLY COMPLAINT/Problem is they open at 6pm and close at 12:50am. I went there the night before (march 5th) I seen that they was open late so when I got there security informed me they was closed just wished they open before 6pm. But everyone there was super nice thanks Sierra for an amazing experience!!
Mar 06, 2025 · Blue ColeI came on two separate occasions within the last two weeks. We decided to join my younger cousins for brunch on 03/16/25 which was later in the afternoon. Food came fast, service was okay, and the vibe was 10/10. So much so, we decided to come back with a smaller group to smoke hookah and get drinks. Here’s why I decided to leave this review, upon entrance the establishment has maybe 8 people with 4 sitting at the bar. We were greeted walked to our table and instantly offered hookah by the vendor, cool! Server comes brings everyone water and leaves. When she returns, we let her know we wanted to smoke hookah for a while etc. She then leaves again and tells us there is a $100 table minimum which is no where on the door printed or even on the table and not once was this explained the two times you came to the table. Okay so we asked for a refund for our hookah to leave and the manager approached us on the same BS!! To add insult to injury she explains we can stay to smoke but there is a reservation for the table and we would need to leave when the table comes (AGAIN the establishment was empty enough to sit your reservation at anyyy one of the other tables) so we left all together because it felt very unwelcoming and very much we want your money!! Upon leaving the hostess and security asked why we were leaving and once we explained, the shocked and surprised looks said enough to reassure our decision. That rule was news to them too. 0/10 never returning.
Mar 24, 2025 · Ashley LloydThe food and atmosphere were great. Service was excellent, such a nice waitress. Our meal and drinks were top tier. The ambiance is to die for!!! Overall, a really good experience. We made reservations but it wasn't too crowded when we dined (Saturday). Buuutttt, after 930...it becomes a younger hangout lounge versus the restaurant aspect. The crowd and atmosphere changes....FYI for my mature aged people. They even had security at the door searching people upon entry as we departed. I'd definitely go again, but earlier, for a good dining experience.
