Kim's Cafe Reviews
5 stars for exceeding my expectations. This is my 2nd visit. Small place hidden inside the tunnel. The first time, I came here for lunch a few weeks ago and ordered the Vermicelli with Chicken. It was good. Portion was great and the char grilled chicken was awesome. Nothing bad to say about it except that I wish it would in a bowl. This my first time trying the Pho here and I am seriously surprised. I came in with low expectations but the broth is as good as some other places in Houston.Broth was flavorful and not bland. Noodles were not overcooked. I ordered the beef, and it came out to be a combination, like the dac biet at other restaurants. Good portion of different meats and it didn't taste old or rubbery. Overall, great lunch spot for Vietnamese food.
Nov 01, 2022 · Richard VI am thoroughly disappointed. I ordered chicken fried rice and chicken soup. Do you see the pictures? I got white rice with some old and dried pieces of chicken thrown on top and it's not seasoned. The chicken soup is ugh, bland and tasteless. Never, not ever plan to eat here again. 👎
Jul 29, 2021 · Ms JOrdered the shrimp pho for lunch, barely any noodles, and the taste was subpar. Also, the service was poor - the ladies at the front aren't very friendly nor super helpful. For someone who eats pho consistently, this place is a hard pass.
Jan 23, 2025 · Black CowboysLove this new place - a must try for lunch. I order the sesame chicken with fried rice, and it’s delicious. Fried rice has great flavor without being overly seasoned. Plus they throw in broccoli on the side that helps me feel like I’m making a healthy choice, too.
Sep 07, 2021 · Evan SkeenThe pork spring rolls are great. The rest of the food is lacking. My fried rice was cold. It's a bit overpriced compared to other food in the tunnels.
