Bullritos - Milam Introduce
For those of us in Houston, Texas, with a craving for fresh, customizable Tex-Mex that fits seamlessly into a busy downtown schedule, Bullritos - Milam has long been a familiar name. Located conveniently within the bustling city center, this counter-service chain offers a "build-your-own" concept that puts you in charge of crafting your perfect burrito, bowl, or tacos. In a city where quick, delicious, and satisfying meals are highly valued, Bullritos aims to deliver a "call-it-like-you-want-it" experience that resonates with the local appetite for Tex-Mex flavors.
Bullritos, a Texas-based brand, was inspired by founder Russell Ybarra's adventurous sprint through the streets of Pamplona, Spain, combined with his passion for fresh Tex-Mex ingredients. Since opening its first location in La Porte, Texas, in 2008, the concept has grown, focusing on a "quick-casual" dining experience. The core philosophy revolves around empowering customers to create their ideal meal from a wide array of fresh components, ensuring a personalized and flavorful outcome every time.
At Bullritos, the emphasis is on quality ingredients and a straightforward, efficient ordering process. They are known for making their guacamole and Masa chips fresh daily, and for offering meals that contain zero trans-fats, catering to various dietary needs. While the brand strives to provide "Unbeatabull Service" and a "warm atmosphere," customer experiences can vary, as is common with high-volume establishments. However, for many Houstonians, Bullritos remains a go-to spot for a quick, customizable, and generally satisfying Tex-Mex fix. It's a place where you can grab your order and "run with it," embodying the spirited "Running of the Bulls" theme that inspired the brand.

Bullritos - Milam Reviews
Nice folks and good portions. Overall flavors are good but the protein/meats are too dry. Not sure if it’s because they’ve been sitting out or reheated, but that’s my only major complaint
Sep 26, 2024 · KevinShocking: Metal Piece Found in Food!As a regular customer of Bullritos at this location, I was deeply disturbed to find a metal piece in my recent meal. This not only ruined my experience but also poses a significant health risk. This serious issue raises serious concerns about their hygiene and quality control. Additionally, I was alarmed to discover that hot food is stored in plastic bags, and upon inquiry, the staff was unsure about the type of plastic being used. This lack of transparency regarding food safety practices is unacceptable. Regrettably, I won't be returning after this incident. Extremely disappointed.
Mar 26, 2024 · BobbyOrdered two crispy veggie (tacos $3 each) through ritual. Chose couple toppings on each. They only gave me the toppings. No stuffing inside. No one cared when they made it, but they greeted as I entered “Welcome to Bullritos”.. for what? To get ripped off??! Reading other reviews, no wonder.. may be they figured it’s a ritual order (someone/somewhere) and not going to be a repeat customer. Unacceptable.
Jun 20, 2022 · gopi gautamaFood was okay overall, but I wouldn't come back with all the different lunch choices around. My spinach tortilla selection was a mistake. Not only did it not go well with my order (my fault on that) - it tasted flash frozen/stale/almost moldy.
Mar 05, 2018 · Adn BzmThe burritos and bowls are tasty. Being able to choose your options is nice and I've liked most of the combinations I've tried. There are breakfast options here, but I haven't tried them out yet.
