The Flying Biscuit Cafe Reviews
Walking in, we were greeted and immediately seated. The music and the staff were really friendly and fun! We got the Joey Bag of Donuts for an appetizer, which was a cake donut soaked in a honey glaze topped with powdered sugar. It was so good and not too sweet for us. After, we got steak and eggs for one meal and a Nashville hot chicken wrap with Parmesan-truffle fries for the other. Both were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! Everything was super filling too. We will definitely come back next time we're in the area.
Jun 17, 2025 · Kaylene ShermanI was in town for a concert and we wanted to get breakfast before heading back home. Looked up what restaurants were near by, choose a restaurant that when we got there, the line was out the door. Nope...not waiting in line for breakfast, so I went back to look at restaurants near me, and The Flying Biscuit Cafe showed up. Wasn't too far from where we were, so off we went.We were happy we did! The Flying Biscuit Cafe was a fun find for us! The place was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food came out of the kitchen quickly, fresh and hot!!! Parking was plentiful and free!I look forward to breakfast at The Flying Biscuit Cafe on my next visit to Houston!
Jun 23, 2025 · Elizabeth MedwickFirst time at this location, but 2nd visit to this franchise overall. I got the French toast again 😅 and the avocado toast this time, and it was all still fabulously delicious! My roommate and I went first thing on a Sunday morning at 7am, so we had the whole restaurant to ourselves and got to enjoy our meal in a quiet atmosphere. However, service was a little disappointing. Despite being the only patrons at 7am, the server sat us in a booth right by the kitchen/busser exit, when there was plenty of nicer seating. The seating was also unreasonable because the server couldn't see our table at all from around 2 corners where she was prepping silverware (not even if we popped our heads up over the booth or raised our hands to flag her down). Because we waited longer than 15 minutes, My roommate had to finally get up from our booth and walk across the restaurant to get her attention and let her know we were ready to order. So far, of the 2 locations I've dined at, the food is good! But it'd be extremely smart for these establishments to work on training their waitstaff better, especially to overcompensate for the fact that their parking situation isnt exactly a great selling point for their businesses.
Jun 23, 2025 · PandaFirst time going service was good there was a wait but probably about 20 min and they did tell me upfront food and drinks where great this is a smaller sized restraint so make reservation if you have a bigger group but all an all I had a great experience we had the fried chicken Benedict which was amazing! Then the kids waffle. I also had a spicy margarita which wasn’t very strong or spicy but was delicious!
Mar 09, 2025 · Alaska Surplus AuctionCame here for a brunch with a few close friends and loved ones for my Birthday! The host was friendly and told me Happy Birthday, the wait time was about 15mins or less. We had Nesto as our server and he was very fast, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about it the menu! He gave us recommendations on which foods were pretty good and he did not disappoint! We are from Dallas, but will definitely be coming back here when visiting Houston.
