La Mexicana Reviews
This is our second visit here. Our first visit was flawless but this one was a different story. Wife ordered chicken quesadillas with beans no rice and I ordered chicken enchiladas with red sauce. The quesadillas came out with rice no beans and my enchiladas came out with green sauce instead of red. Overall the food was good just not prepared the way we ordered it.
Apr 18, 2025 · Steven ShadowLa Mexicana was a great dining experience. We enjoyed the frozen margaritas which wasn’t the typical generic syrup mix. It actually was balanced in flavor with the correct level of sweet and tangy.I ordered beef tacos with cilantro and onion. The chunks of bite-size meat were huge and flavorful. My girlfriend ordered the fish tacos, as did my daughter, and they both enjoyed them.My son ordered one of the biggest burritos we have ever seen. It was so big that he had to cut it in half and take the rest home. He said it was really tasty.
Jun 05, 2025 · Curtis RockThe enchiladas were delicious!! Definitely recommend. Indoor and outdoor seating. The spinach enchiladas were really good and our server, Marvin was excellent! Will come again when back in town
Mar 11, 2025 · Rara BrewI first discovered LA Mexicana when looking for breakfast tacos for a work meeting. Everything was very good and clearly homemade (including the tortillas). So, I ordered delivery for myself today. Of course I had to get some more breakfast tacos, but I also tried a few other things. The tacos are good portions. Even the chorizo & egg, and macahacado & egg tacos have good portions of chorizo and machacado. They definitely don't skimp on the ingredients. I also tried the carne guisada plate (with refried beans, rice and tortillas). They forgot my tortillas but everything is so good that I don't even care. Haha. (I always have tortillas, or can make my own.) Once again, fresh and homemade. Very good. The ONE thing I did NOT like was the tres leches. First of all, it's the smallest $10 piece of tres leches I've ever seen. That wouldn't be so bad if it tasted good. It didn't have much flavor or sweetness. (HEB has better tres leches.) Everything else is so good that I am still giving all the stars!
Feb 08, 2025 · C MService was quick, Food is a little greasy but maybe its because I ordered the flautas and they tend to be greasy anyway. The sopapilas were delicious!! We had a mishap with the bill as we were charged someone else's account, but we got it sorted out
