While its popularity means you might encounter a wait, the consistent praise for the food and the engaging atmosphere suggests it's often well worth it. Harry's embodies a distinct blend of elegance and casual charm, making it a beloved spot for both special occasions and regular weekend indulgence. Let's explore what makes Harry's a top-tier brunch restaurant for locals in Houston.
### Location and Accessibility
Harry's is conveniently located at 318 Tuam St, Houston, TX 77006, USA. This address places it squarely within the lively and desirable Midtown/Montrose area of Houston, a district renowned for its eclectic mix of dining, entertainment, and cultural attractions. Its central position makes it a popular destination for residents across the city.
Accessibility to Harry's is generally good. For those traveling by car, street parking is typically available in the surrounding neighborhood, though as with any popular urban spot, it can require a bit of searching, especially during peak brunch hours on weekends. While Harry's does not offer reservations, they do have a "Call-Ahead Seating Program" which can help reduce wait times. It is advisable to utilize this feature by calling approximately 30 minutes before your arrival, though it's not a guarantee of immediate seating. The area is also well-served by Houston's public transportation system. Multiple METRORail stops are within a reasonable walking distance, connecting Harry's to other key parts of the city. Additionally, various bus routes operate in the Montrose and Midtown areas, offering further transit options. The location in a bustling and dynamic part of Houston adds to the overall appeal, making it a desirable spot for locals to gather and enjoy a standout brunch experience.

Harry's Reviews
Delicious food. Probably top 3 restaurants in the midtown and Montrose area for brunch. Ladies if you are showing too much, you won’t be allowed to eat in the restaurant. They have strict dress code policy. They almost didn’t let us in. The waiting time is not too bad. Worth the wait.
Jun 28, 2025 · Gabriel RiveraI was incredibly disappointed with the length of the wait time during our visit. The order of seating was disorganized, and the hostesses seemed overwhelmed. While I understand that reservations can be made ahead of time, the organizational aspect still needs serious improvement. We were originally told the wait would be 30–40 minutes, but it ended up being exactly 78 minutes. After asking about the status for the third time, the hostess curtly responded, “I already sent the text message,” though nothing had come through until a minute later, suggesting it had just been sent. When I asked again about the wait, her response was simply, “It’s over an hour,” which was very different from what we had been told initially. Despite the confusion and delays, no manager ever came out to check on us or address the situation, which made the experience even more frustrating. We chose to stay because my son really wanted to eat at Harry’s, and we had driven over 50 miles to get there. Now, for the positives: the atmosphere and music were fun and engaging, creating a lively and enjoyable vibe. As always, the food was exceptional. I had the Baklava French Toast, while my family enjoyed the Churrasco Platter with lamb chops, the Best Combo, and the Merenda Pancakes. Everything was delicious and prepared with great care. Most importantly, our waitress, Donnely, was wonderful. She was very attentive, frequently checking on our drinks and making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Her friendly and professional service helped turn the experience around and made our meal much more enjoyable.Overall, while the food and service from Donna Lee were fantastic, the management of seating, communication, and guest care needs serious attention.
Apr 27, 2025 · Ailed AlfaroOne of my favorite brunch spots. First of all I love that you can check in before hand. Best thing ever! Food is delicious and plates are well served. Service is always excellent.
May 24, 2025 · Maria SanchezVery yummy, good service. If you’re impatient and can’t handle a wait, maybe don’t come here… but it’s worth the wait if you’re a patient person. I would definitely recommend checking them out if you’re in Houston :)
Jun 01, 2025 · Andrea AngelOverall so-so. It was super hyped from my friends but I think it was just pretty decent. There are long wait times and parking is hard to get in their main lot so be prepared for that. The American breakfast stuff was too basic for it to be worth the wait time. Get the more unique items and you will be better off. The pupusas were very yummy! Staff was nice and the restaurant has a clean, bright feel. Outside seating is available.
