Celtic Gardens Reviews
This spunky and classic bar is one of the most popular places in Houston. Sunday Fun-day here is the best. Many bars only play one type of music genre but here they have an eclectic play list and the DJs are very intuitive in what to play and how to move the crowd. I recently went there this past Sunday and it was packed. The bar outside is the place to be . The bar has a horse shoe game in the back and they have canopy seats outside to make you feel comfortable. The people that work there are very attentive to your needs. Make sure to order the waffle fries if you go there,it is to die for because they put a specials cheese sauce on it. It is so heavenly. If you go there, ask for Rachel and Nate. They are the best!!
Oct 21, 2014 · Mindy LeVery similar crowd to Pub Fiction. Great patio area with lots of room to have a great time. I love the fresh made Sangrias, red and white options.Food selection is considerably tasty. I believe I had fried deviled eggs one time. Those were amazing. All in all, this is a great patio bar to go chill with some friends.
May 07, 2014 · Cal HamiltonI have been here multiple times with my friends while going around midtown, and it is one of my favorite places to go to! The outside patio area starts at the entrance and goes around towards the side and the back, and it has quite a bit of seating. There is one bar but one side serves the outside area and the other serves the inside area. The service there is very quick, and they are very helpful in regards to if you don't know what to drink (if you don't want your regular whiskey coke) they'll give you suggestions, and I've always liked what they recommended. The inside is a bit small for the amount of people that go there, but it makes it fun, because everyone is dancing around everywhere and it's a ton of fun. The music is your typical bar scene genre, but when you're drinking and just wanting to dance why would you want anything else? lol. The outside is pretty chill and the inside can be kind of crazy, so it has the best of both worlds!
Dec 15, 2014 · Perla AparicioThe short blond bartender and the other blond with the surgical malpractice looking lips were incredibly rude to the people we were with. We paid for shots and there was no more than a sip in our glasses, not even half a shot. We commented on it and they both spent the rest of the night insulting us and yelling at us and at their coworkers telling them not to serve us. The bar itself was a fun environment, but I don't think I can convince any of my friends to go back there after how rude and childish the employees acted.
Dec 06, 2015 · Travis WilsonIf you are looking for the daytime drinkers on Sundays, Celtic is your place. I frequent this place for Sunday Funday (which really is the best day to come here). It always gets packed especially if you come on a nice afternoon with perfect patio weather. They are dog-friendly so that's a definite plus. The mimosa carafes and frozen lemonades in mason jars are refreshing and delicious. It may shock you but Celtic offers great bar quality dishes. I've had the buffalo waffle fries, fried pickles, chicken tenders, BBQ pizza. All are highly recommended. The DJ also picks up around a certain time on Sundays so if you are looking for something low-key and quieter, Celtic is not the place for you.
