Brennan's Houston is gracefully situated at 3300 Smith St, Houston, TX 77006, USA. This prime location places it in Midtown, a vibrant and dynamic neighborhood known for its blend of residential, commercial, and entertainment offerings. Midtown provides a sophisticated backdrop for Brennan's, allowing it to be both easily accessible and a distinguished destination. The restaurant's building itself boasts a rich history, designed in 1929 by prominent Houston architect John Staub to emulate a 1795 Rillieux structure from the New Orleans French Quarter, establishing a strong architectural connection to its Creole roots.
Regarding accessibility, Brennan's Houston is well-connected within the city. Smith Street is a major thoroughfare, making it straightforward to reach by car from various parts of Houston. For parking, while some limited street parking may be available, Brennan's of Houston explicitly recommends and often provides valet parking, which is typically the most convenient option for a fine dining establishment in an urban setting. This thoughtful service ensures a smooth arrival and departure for guests. The restaurant's location in Midtown also means it's relatively accessible via ride-sharing services, and for those inclined towards public transport, the METRORail's Main Street line has stations within a reasonable distance. This combination of central location and convenient access contributes significantly to its suitability as a venue for special occasions and regular fine dining.

Brennan's Houston Reviews
This place is amazing. My family and I have been going here for over 10 years. We have celebrated anniversaries, graduations, holidays, like Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and so much more here. It is practically like a tradition. The staff and service are high-quality and greatly trained. We know some of the servers by name and even request to see them because they are that great. Love the pralines by the door. Garlic bread & biscuits are good. French Toast never disappoints. Some of our favorite desserts are the Banana’s Foster, Bread Pudding, Mississippi Mud Pie and Strawberry Shortcake. Live band is awesome, friendly and nice. They sometimes take song requests. Would especially recommend coming here for brunch. Most lively on the weekend like Saturday or Sunday. Would definitely recommend!

Everybody extremely attentive, but not invasive. The decor and ambience is perfect for a friendly but yet upscale dining experience. The food, from appetizer, to entrées to dessert, is outstanding. The highlight, of course, the live music that celebrates New Orleans.
May 19, 2025 · Michael CrainWhat an amazing experience!Came in for the $150 tomahawk special. Thomas took great care of us. Started with the flavorful turtle soup, then chef came out and did a table side presentation of slicing the tomahawk and serving us. Seasoned very well. Mac & cheese and mash potatoes were delicious. Ended our meal with hot beignets and complementary pralines. I will be back for their live jazz brunch and ask for Thomas! Thanks Brennans for exceptional hospitality and yummy food 🤤 $5 for valet and they were very nice and quick.
Apr 23, 2025 · P TGreat atmosphere. Great service. The food was good. It’s not as bold as the flavor profiles you expect from Louisiana. However, it’s good food. The deserts were a better highlight taste wise. But the atmosphere and the service are five stars!!
May 28, 2025 · Gunny GumbyWe went for Sunsay Brunch. There was a Jazz Band which was a great addition to the ambiance of the restaurant. Our service was great from the hostess to our waiter. I had the shrimp and grits. It was very good. We had the bread pudding for dessert. Great place for a date. My lady love it
